These terms apply to your NextSafe subscription. We keep them as clear as possible. The gist: you decide how long you stay, your price doesn’t change unexpectedly, and we ask you to use the service responsibly.

01 Who we are and what this applies to
NextSafe is a brand of Nextmac B.V. These terms and conditions apply to every NextSafe subscription and to the use of our website and apps. By taking out a subscription, you agree to these terms.
02 The service
NextSafe offers a VPN service that lets you encrypt your internet connection and connect via servers in various countries, along with the accompanying apps for macOS, iOS, Windows, Android, and more.
We do our best to provide a fast, reliable service, but we can’t guarantee that every server, location, or speed is always available. From time to time we carry out maintenance, which may temporarily affect the service.
03 Your account
For NextSafe you create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login details secret and for what happens through your account. Your account is personal; don’t share your login details with others outside your own household, and don’t resell access.
04 Subscriptions, pricing, and payment
We offer several subscriptions:
- Monthly · €8.99 per month, no commitment.
- Yearly · €5.99 per month, billed annually in advance.
- With a device · €4.99 per month in the first year, only with the purchase of a device on nextmac.nl; from €5.99 per month afterward.
All prices include VAT. Payments are processed via iDEAL or Wero. Important: the price you pay at the start also applies on renewal. We don’t silently increase your price.
05 Renewal and cancellation
You can cancel the monthly plan at any time; your access then continues until the end of the paid period. The yearly plan is automatically renewed for another year at the same price after it ends, unless you cancel before the end of the period. Cancelling is easy, either in your account or via our support team.
06 Cooling-off period (right of withdrawal)
As a consumer, you generally have a fourteen-day cooling-off period after purchase. Because NextSafe is a digital service that can be delivered immediately, we ask for your explicit consent at purchase to start right away. In doing so, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully delivered. If you don’t request immediate delivery, you retain your fourteen-day cooling-off period.
30-day money-back guarantee. On top of your statutory cooling-off period we offer our own guarantee: if you are not satisfied within 30 days of your first purchase, email support@nextsafe.nl and we will refund the full purchase amount. This guarantee applies once per customer, on your first subscription.
07 Fair use
We ask you to use NextSafe as intended. You will not use the service for:
- activities that violate the law;
- harming, hacking, or overloading others or our systems;
- sending spam or harmful software;
- reselling or commercially redistributing your access.
In case of serious or repeated abuse, we may restrict or terminate your account. Where possible, we will warn you first.
08 Availability and maintenance
We strive for high availability, but we can’t guarantee an uninterrupted or error-free service. We may temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance, updates, or to ensure security. We try to keep any disruption to a minimum.
09 Liability
We provide the service with care, but offer it “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, or loss of use. In any case, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription during the relevant period. These limitations do not apply in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
10 Termination by us
We may terminate a subscription if you breach these terms, in case of abuse of the service, or if you fail to pay despite a reminder. If we terminate through no fault of yours, we will refund the unused part of your prepaid period.
11 Privacy
How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy. In short: we don’t store what you do online and only collect what’s needed to make your account work.
12 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we introduce new features or when regulations change. For significant changes, we will let you know in advance. The date at the top shows when the terms were last updated.
13 Applicable law and disputes
These terms and your subscription are governed by Dutch law. If we can’t resolve a dispute together, you can bring it before the competent Dutch court. As a consumer, you can also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
